OFFENSIVE WORK TO CLOSE THE SECOND HALF-YEAR
At a faster pace and more productively
— Several demands are being placed on the first half-year’s overfulfilments —
FRIDAY — The distribution of hall, according to tradition, is also conditioned by the payments made according to the needs of organization, within a range of capacity norms. The references to achievements in the plant, despite difficulties, have been made in several directions. This is also confirmed by workers in the various sectors, who are committed to fulfilling the plan for the month and the period. Although not all market requirements have been met, production has increased in many items.
VLORË — Instead of giving in at the first difficulty, the workforce at this enterprise has continued at steady rates. Continuous efforts have been made to improve technical and economic indicators and to secure raw material. Some sectors have gone beyond plan, while in others higher technological discipline is being sought.
Since the year in which activity has been more effectively organized, opportunities have been created for better supply to the unit and for the rational use of materials. This has meant that during this period there have been fewer losses and more fulfilment in production. Despite difficulties in transport and in securing certain spare parts, work has not stopped.
In many workplaces, product quality is being closely monitored. Workers state that exceeding the plan has no value if it is not accompanied by improved quality and the fulfilment of orders on time. Analyses have been carried out in brigades and concrete tasks assigned to each unit.
These days, according to enterprise leaders, work is under way at a higher pace to successfully close the month of August and ensure the fulfilment of the quarterly plan. The experience of the first half-year, in which there were overfulfilments in several indicators, is being used to further encourage socialist competition and the responsibility of each worker.

Discipline - a link that must be strengthened every day
VLORË —
Instead of being an obvious part of everyday life, work discipline continues to remain a demand that must be reinforced every day. In many workplaces it is stressed that achievements depend not only on individual commitment, but also on observing rules, keeping to schedules and using equipment rationally.
Managers of the sections underline that any weakness in the chain of discipline has direct consequences on the pace of production. For this reason, measures have been taken for better control, greater responsibility of brigade leaders and more frequent analysis of indicators.
At collective meetings, the need for awareness, for respecting technological norms and for avoiding omissions that damage the overall result has been discussed. This requires continuous work with people, personal example from the leadership, and immediate response to any violation.
According to the data presented, there are still cases where delays, unjustified absences or the incomplete carrying out of duties affect fulfilment. Attention must be focused precisely here, so that something is gained every day in strengthening discipline.

Distinction of the transport worker
Experience is within the district
VLASAN —
Starting from the needs of the transport sector and the growing responsibility for carrying out tasks, the work collectives in several enterprises of the district have drawn on valuable experience for organizing services. Work has focused on better use of vehicles, their maintenance and a closer link with the needs of production.
The analyses carried out have underlined that positive experience should be spread throughout the district, so as to avoid delays and improve the pace of supply. Special attention has been paid to planning movements and making use of capacities.
Some enterprises have set an example in following the schedule and reducing breakdowns. This has helped increase the amount of goods transported and raised the responsibility of vehicle drivers. The experience gained is also being valued for its application in other units.
