Announcement by the Council of Ministers of the PPSH The Council of Ministers decided to increase the pensions of elderly cooperative members, who have worked for a period of no less than 35 years, from 350 lek, which is their minimum pension, to 700 lek per month. This represents 50 percent of their income, at a time when the minimum pension in the city has been 700 lek per month. In these years, the pensions of elderly cooperative members have undergone continuous increases, especially in the last two years. During that time, they have increased by about two times. These measures will have positive effects in further strengthening the alliance between the working class and the cooperative member; in raising the economic and social level of cooperative members; and in providing moral and material support to the elderly stratum.
