The brigade’s usual expansion, distinguished activity and initiative, enters the daily work with enthusiasm. These days Saliu’s example has also encouraged his comrades in the brigade, who are providing valuable help in fulfilling the tasks for the month of September. As the chief commander [?] says, this is being done as a conscious activity, but also as a result of the comrades’ sense of responsibility. Brigade leader Nexhat Nimani himself says that work is being organized in such a way as to overcome the difficulties that have arisen and successfully close the second half-year. In the work environment, the comrades’ mobilization stands out, as do efforts to make better use of time and equipment.

With renewed vitality and success at work, others are also being mobilized to achieve the September tasks. A clear improvement is noticeable in the organization of work, especially in those sectors where results had lagged behind. Workers and managers speak of increased responsibility, while collective meetings are being held more frequently to analyze the progress of the plan. In this context, many point out that there must be more discipline, economy, and care for production equipment.

TESTIMONIES OF THE RICH CULTURAL HERITAGE OF OUR PEOPLE
— The trace of colonization, the values of their personality —
Within the activities marking the 400th anniversary of the founding of the first Albanian school, numerous cultural, scientific, and publishing events are being held. One of these activities is an exhibition of documents, manuscripts, and old books, which bears witness to the historical path of the development of education and our national culture. It presents many values of our heritage, speaking of outstanding personalities and of the ongoing efforts of Albanian scholars and patriots.
The exhibition aroused great interest among visitors. It displays old publications, primers, texts, and documents that served during different stages of our history. In the opening remarks, the importance of preserving and studying these treasures was emphasized, as evidence of the national cultural identity.

Except for the drought, the climatic conditions have favored this year’s agricultural crops, especially corn and vegetables. Thus, in the NBSH “Sami Frashëri”, despite considerable effort, the results are not what were expected. In different sectors, delays in agrotechnical work, lack of organization, as well as insufficient use of equipment are mentioned. Leaders and specialists state that in order to keep up the proper pace, more commitment is needed, especially now that the end of the month and the quarter is approaching. It is required that losses be avoided, responsibility increased, and a better working order established.

The Chairman of the Presidium of the People’s Assembly, Ramiz Alia, sent a congratulatory telegram to the President of Malta, Vincent Tabone, on the occasion of the anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic of Malta.
The telegram states that our people wish the Maltese people success in their efforts to develop and advance their country, expressing the conviction that the friendly relations between the two countries will be further strengthened.

At the invitation of the Executive Committee of the RF of Karadak, the delegation of the education and culture trade unions of Cuba arrived
. The delegation is headed by comrade Francisco Xoma [?], member of the national secretariat of the Cuban education and culture trade union. During its stay in our country, the delegation will hold meetings with representatives of our organizations and will become closely acquainted with the achievements in the field of education and culture.
