— The trace of colonization, the values of their personality — Within the activities marking the 400th anniversary of the founding of the first Albanian school, numerous cultural, scientific, and publishing events are being held. One of these activities is an exhibition of documents, manuscripts, and old books, which bears witness to the historical path of the development of education and our national culture. It presents many values of our heritage, speaking of outstanding personalities and of the ongoing efforts of Albanian scholars and patriots. The exhibition aroused great interest among visitors. It displays old publications, primers, texts, and documents that served during different stages of our history. In the opening remarks, the importance of preserving and studying these treasures was emphasized, as evidence of the national cultural identity. (Continued on page 2)
