EDUCATION, BUT ALSO ECONOMIC SANCTIONS
Based on the information we received from the meeting of the Presidency of the Workers' Council of the Community of Albanian-language Secondary Education in the Municipality of Prishtina, action is being taken on the basis of the Conclusions of the Municipal Education Council and the Conclusions of the Presidency of the Council on the problems of oriented education, and on this occasion the collectives have been advised to engage in the exact implementation of the decisions of the socio-political and self-management bodies, as well as to take concrete measures to ensure the implementation of the decision to end the strike by the students and to normalize the educational and teaching work. It has also been suggested that if regular school work does not resume even after this decision, measures should also be taken against education workers. In accordance with the Law on Labour Relations, disciplinary measures will be imposed, and even possibly dismissal from work, on those who hinder the smooth conduct of the teaching process. In this regard, school principals and the relevant bodies are expected to take the necessary measures. This is also the position of the municipal bodies and the educational structures, which demand the restoration of normal conditions in schools and the elimination of all forms of boycott of classes and work discipline. The text mentions educational measures, but also economic sanctions against those who do not respect the decisions of the relevant bodies.[?]
