When discussing Hoxhashti, one cannot leave aside transport

THE TOPIC OF THE 9th PLENUM Here the discussion focused on transport, which in the Hoxhashti district carries a not insignificant share of the enterprises’ goods. As was said at the 9th plenum, one of the constant concerns for carrying out tasks more quickly and better has been increasing the level of organization and discipline in transport activity. For transport users, who are numerous, the situation has often left much to be desired. Thus in Hoxhashti, in N[?], it was emphasized that, despite some recent improvements, transport is not properly fulfilling its mission. The number of vehicles and other means of transport is not sufficient, but neither has their use always been at the required level. In some cases vehicles have stood idle, while in others they have set out with only partial loads. The discussion called for enterprises to draw up delivery plans more carefully, coordinate actions with transport sectors, and avoid unnecessary movements. There was also talk about drivers’ discipline, technical care for the vehicles, and the need for repairs to be carried out on time. Shortages in the supply of spare parts were also mentioned, making vehicle maintenance more difficult and affecting the reduction of the utilization coefficient. It was stressed that every means of transport should be in motion according to schedule and that managers must exercise stricter control over the implementation of tasks. In conclusion, it was underlined that when discussing Hoxhashti, transport cannot be left aside, because the pace of work in production and in the circulation of goods is directly linked to it.

The builders’ example

THE FIRST QUARTER OFF TO A GOOD START MAT At first glance, from the interior arrangements, it had not been noticed that the new year had begun with good momentum in the construction sector. From the work environment itself and from people’s voices it could be understood that the enterprise had entered a different period. Its representatives stated that in the first days of the quarter the first signs of improvement became visible. Greater care was given to the organization of work, various brigades were set in motion, and the main materials for continuing the projects were secured. In this way, confidence was created that the first quarter would close with satisfactory results. According to the initial data, several plan items were fulfilled, although not without difficulties. Fruitful exchange in the market

A HANDS-ON IMPROVEMENT Improvements are not lacking in the market, and this is becoming clearer in several centers of the country, where traders and producers are cooperating better in order to respond to buyers’ demands. It was noted that more goods are appearing in the market and ones better suited to the season, while care for presentation and quality has increased. At several points of sale it was said that the population’s demands are being assessed more seriously. Supplies of agricultural produce and everyday items have become more regular. Measures have also been taken to avoid unnecessary shortages and to improve service to the buyer. Nevertheless, there is still a need for better organization of transport and distribution so that the market is more stable throughout the week. It was emphasized that the fruitful exchange in the market must be accompanied by greater responsibility from all links in the chain.

Some collectives are struggling with streamlining

- KUKËS For the small meeting this Act [?] it was stated that some collectives in industrial production and construction had shown fluctuations in carrying out tasks. It was pointed out that in some enterprises the pace of work has not been the same in all departments and that underperformance in one link has brought consequences in other links as well. Nevertheless, in the latest analyses it was emphasized that there are unused reserves and that, with better organization, higher results can be achieved. Representatives of the collectives called for greater responsibility, daily follow-up of the plan, and stricter measures against breaches of discipline. It was also requested that the experience of the better collectives become the property of all. In this way, the participants said, the struggle with streamlining will be avoided and work will move forward more securely.

To keep the pace means to turn it into achievement

- GJIROKASTËR - The efforts in several sectors of this district, where the first-quarter results have been encouraging, deserve recognition. In agriculture and services, as well as in other sectors, it has been observed that the collectives are working with more pace and self-demand. According to the initial data, several plan indicators have been fulfilled, while in some areas there are still shortcomings. It was said that control should be increased, cooperation between sectors should be strengthened, and assistance from specialists should be improved. Those taking part in the discussion underlined that achieving a steady pace requires not only commitment, but also more accurate management of work processes. In this way, the pace can be turned into a lasting achievement.

Women bring people together in Tirana’s large park?

Chronicle of a Sunday From the early hours of the day, groups of people began to appear on the park’s promenades, drawn by the good weather and the calm of Sunday. Young people, families with children, but also other age groups, enjoyed the movement, conversations, and liveliness of this relaxing space. In certain places, groups of girls and women stood out; with their presence and liveliness they drew the attention of passersby and created a freer atmosphere. People came closer, stopped, exchanged words and glances. It seemed as if the park itself was taking on a different rhythm. But Sunday’s chronicle does not end with the scene alone. It also raises the need for this environment to be better preserved, regularly cleaned, and better cared for in public services. Tirana’s large park remains one of the places where people seek rest and closeness to one another. (Photo: L. Lila)

The roads will solve the Kosovo problem

Sovra from 5 or 3 [?] In this section there is a translated or reprinted article dealing with developments related to the Kosovo issue. The text stresses that the solution cannot come from narrow or violent paths, but from a broader political approach that takes into account the rights of the population and the need for regional stability. The author focuses on the responsibilities of various political actors, the role of public opinion, and the need for tensions not to be further inflamed. It then underlines that the issue calls for wisdom, dialogue, and determination in order to avoid more serious consequences. In the end, several assessments are given of the paths that could lead to a solution, emphasizing that the Kosovo problem is complex and does not admit simple recipes.
