The endless rows of people, coming from all directions, once again testified to how beloved is the figure of the leader of the Party and the people. In these days of mourning and sorrow, the entire Albanian people, workers, cooperative members, soldiers, intellectuals, young men and women, are bowing in respect before the work of Comrade Enver Hoxha. In a special place among them, teachers and students stand out. The socialism and patriotism molded by the teachings of the Party and Comrade Enver Hoxha have brought them here with the purest feelings to express grief and respect. Students, teachers and educators, coming from schools and different districts, stand with deep respect before the photograph of Comrade Enver Hoxha, lay wreaths and bouquets of flowers, and write in the book of mourning. Their words are simple, but filled with great love for the man who brought light to the nation, who taught generations to love the Motherland, the Party, the people, freedom and socialism. Their faces show sorrow, but also pride that they lived in his time and grew up with his work. A female teacher writes that Enver Hoxha’s name will remain forever in the hearts of the people and in the memory of generations. A student emphasizes that his teachings will always be a guide for Albanian youth. Others express the vow that they will study and work more, in order to be worthy of his immortal work. The respect of teachers and students is clear proof of the strong link between the school and the Party and the ideals of socialism. Revolutionary education, the spirit of discipline, love for work and for knowledge, all these are part of the teachings of Comrade Enver Hoxha, which live in our school. In this atmosphere of mourning, but also determination, teachers and students affirm that they will follow his path, preserve his sacred legacy, and work further for the flourishing of the socialist homeland.

The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party of Labour of Albania and President of the Republic, Comrade Ramiz Alia, received and held a cordial conversation with the well-known Italian politician Paolo Emilio Taviani. The conversation addressed issues of relations between the two countries, developments in the region, and the need to strengthen cooperation. Comrade Ramiz Alia appreciated the importance of better mutual understanding and the expansion of contacts. Paolo Emilio Taviani expressed satisfaction with the reception and interest in developments in our country.
