Decide! 1 first volume, Korce, Shkoder, Vlorë, Elbasan, Gjirokastër, Sarandë, Fier, Lezhë, Tiranë on the one hand embody the unity of thought and action of the broad masses of the people with the Party and popular power, and on the other hand their determination to carry forward the tasks posed by the new stage of the country’s socialist development. In recent days, tens of thousands of workers from the city and countryside, young men and women, veterans and pensioners, intellectuals and cadres have taken part in rallies, meetings and various political and social activities, expressing confidence in the line of the Party of Labour of Albania and readiness to defend the gains of socialism. In different districts of the country, meetings with voters, assemblies of organizations of the Democratic Front, trade unions, youth and women, as well as other broad popular activities, have been held. In the spring work campaign, work is being carried out with high intensity in 1990 — Announcement by the Central Commission of Socialist Competitions — In the Tepelena district, spring work is progressing at a good pace. The main agricultural and volunteer forces have been concentrated on planting crops, on agrotechnical services and on land improvement. Good results have been achieved in many agricultural enterprises and cooperatives in the district. According to the data of the relevant commission, in this district several plan indicators for the first days of April have been achieved and exceeded. At the forefront of the work are the brigades of several cooperatives and enterprises that have shown good organization and a high pace of work. The Central Commission of Socialist Competitions points out that the good experience of these collectives should be more widely disseminated, encouraging socialist competition and the sense of responsibility in fulfilling plan tasks. -TIRANA- The Albanian people with deep reverence commemorate today Comrade Enver Hoxha, the great man of our recent history, the beloved teacher and leader of the Party and the people, the architect of the victories of the revolution and socialist construction. On the anniversary of his death, tributes, memorial meetings and various activities are being held in Tirana and throughout the country. Workers, students, pupils, war veterans and broad popular masses lay wreaths and bouquets of flowers near monuments and memorials. As a special guest of our government, former Italian Minister of the Interior and well-known political and scientific personality Emilio Taviani concluded his visit to our country. During his stay in Albania, he held meetings with various personalities from political, scientific and cultural life and visited several places of historical and economic importance. At Rinas airport he was seen off by representatives of our authorities. (ATSH)

From 9-11 April, an economic-commercial delegation from the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, headed by the Minister of Foreign Trade, Mr. Miroslav Krosnar, made a visit to our country.
