This year too, Tirana is celebrating the important May Day holiday with unrestrained joy. The celebration program is rich and varied. All across the capital, numerous cultural, sports, and recreational activities have been staged. For example, in order to familiarize residents and foreigners as much as possible with the past of this village, these days the museum corner has been opened in the home of the distinguished revolutionary activist Nikola Karev. The museum and its exhibits are devoted solely to his life and work. There are many documents and photographs on display there. For broader information, a special monograph dedicated to Nikola Karev has also been published there. A delegation of activists from Ukraine visited this village some time ago. They became acquainted with the rich revolutionary past of Galiçnik and with the well-known cultural traditions of this mountain village.
