How are we affirming the new developments At the electoral assemblies of the Tirana district, democratizing processes are being carried out successfully and are producing new results. Discussing with a high sense of responsibility the tasks arising from the decisions of the 9th Plenum of the CC of the PPSH and considering as indispensable the organization and leading role of the party, the communists of the districts have put forward a series of ideas for the further deepening of the party’s internal life and of its activity at all levels. The chairman of the District Council, comrade Hekuran Isai, said that in the basic organizations of the neighborhoods, the city and the village, a more open working climate, a freer dialogue and a greater commitment to solving the problems troubling the masses have been created. In these organizations, efforts can be seen to encourage critical thinking, to advance useful initiatives and to support new developments everywhere. In the discussions it was pointed out that in order to move faster in this direction, every manifestation of bureaucratization, formalism and underestimation of the opinions of communists and working people must be fought. It was emphasized that the party wins greater trust from the masses when it listens carefully to their concerns and when it gives concrete, timely answers to solve them. Those who spoke also highlighted the need to strengthen oversight of the implementation of decisions, to increase personal and collective responsibility and to turn the party committees into lively centers of political and organizational work. It was requested that the basic organizations be closer to production, the school, the village and the neighborhood, where problems arise and where immediate intervention is required. In the end, it was stressed that the affirmation of new developments is closely linked to the courage to tell the truth, to the support of honest and capable people, to criticism and self-criticism, as well as to the uninterrupted implementation of the party line.

For the people of the Përmet district, 24 May of this year will always remain one of the most memorable days. On the occasion of the 46th anniversary of the Historic Congress of Permet, various festive and commemorative activities were organized. Many guests arrived in the city, veterans of the National Liberation War, representatives of local government, social organizations and youth.
