Yesterday morning, the Presidium of the People’s Assembly met under the direction of comrade Nexhmije Hoxha, Chairwoman of the Presidium of the People’s Assembly. Present at the meeting were comrades Adil Çarçani, Prime Minister of the government, Hekuran Isai, Minister of Internal Affairs, Simon Stefani, Minister of Justice, and Ylli Popa, Secretary of the Presidium of the People’s Assembly. They are based on the spirit of the law on the main constitutional provisions, on political pluralism, and on the need to create the necessary legal basis for the normal development of democratic processes. In the Council of Ministers The Chairman of the Council of Ministers held a meeting with students of the Higher Agricultural Institute. At this meeting, the economic situation, the difficulties the country is going through, as well as the need to increase production and involve the youth in social life, were discussed. The students presented their views regarding the improvement of living and study conditions, the reform of curricula, and the role that young cadres should play in the development of agriculture. The Prime Minister stressed that the government will support the positive initiatives of the youth and will take measures to improve supplies and the conditions in the dormitories.
