The flawed scheme for increasing agricultural production is audible
... in a short period, the other mechanizers and workers of the cooperative have also been engaged, while the mechanizers have been employed on monthly wages. The engaged cooperativists spend a considerable part of their time on the road, looking for transport, and thus their working time is wasted. These shortcomings have been noticed, but in order to eliminate them, first of all, the form of work organization must be changed. In the PISH agricultural cooperative, it appears as an economy organized according to agricultural production rules, while the daily work of the cooperativists still develops in old forms of organization, without clear standards and without defining the tasks of each worker. There is no direct link between pay and work results. This causes fluctuations in discipline and responsibility.
In a number of cooperatives, in order to stimulate work and ensure greater production, the scheme form has been applied. According to the experience of some agricultural economies, this form has produced positive results when implemented correctly, with precise standards, continuous checks, and fair material incentives. But where it has been used only in name, without changing the real labor relations, the scheme has remained a fictitious organization. Instead of serving as a means to raise productivity, it has turned into a reporting form.
When work is not measured by accurate indicators, when brigades do not keep daily records, when the division of tasks is done without planning and without control, then responsibility cannot be individualized either. In these circumstances, the cooperativist does not feel the plot, the work, the yield, and the income as his own. Therefore, it is essential that the scheme not be treated as an improvisation, but as a concrete form of work organization, closely linked to the plan, the deadline, quality, and remuneration.
Experience shows that where land, equipment, and workers have been linked in smaller work units, with defined tasks and clear responsibility, the results have been better. On the other hand, where whole brigades move from one plot to another without concrete ownership of the task, time is lost and responsibility is dispersed. This requires a review of the way work is organized, of standards and remuneration, as well as of the guiding role of the management bodies in the cooperatives.
In the conditions in which agriculture must provide more production for the market and for supplying the people, every organizational reserve matters. The scheme cannot be a slogan, but a concrete task. It must be based on economic calculations, work discipline, and continuous control. Only in this way can it become an effective tool for increasing agricultural production.
The poor cultivate everything interesting about Albania, of its progress
- Declaration of the presidium of the General Council of the Community of the Democrats of Albania
And the departure from the country does not happen as a separation, but as an even stronger bond with the fate of our Albania. This is a legitimate and natural feeling for every Albanian, wherever he or she lives. And in this sense, we consider national unity, understanding, and cooperation among all those who want the good of the homeland to be essential.
The Presidium of the General Council of the Community of the Democrats of Albania notes with concern the efforts to distort the democratic processes and to use them for narrow group interests. Democracy is not built with empty slogans, but with responsibility, legality, and respect for different opinions. Only on this basis can stable institutions be created and the trust of citizens be earned.
Along this path, broad civic participation is required, but also political clarity. No one can place themselves above the national interest. Anyone who seeks to profit from the country's difficulties damages its future. Therefore, every political force and every social organization should be judged by the real contribution it makes to the stability, development, and democratic progress of Albania.
We see the future of the country closely tied to work, honesty, and civic responsibility. Instead of divisions, there must be rapprochement; instead of hatred, dialogue; instead of adventure, prudence. Only in this way can Albania move forward.
In the tourist area
As one passes through the roads of the tourist area, what stands out is not only the winter quiet, but also the lack of care for environmental upkeep, building maintenance, and the enlivening of economic life. Hotels, cafes, and service facilities, although in good condition, are not being used enough. There are many opportunities to attract visitors, but concrete initiatives and better work organization are lacking.
In some places it is clear that the season is treated only as a summer matter. But tourism requires year-round preparation, carefully planned investments, and the mobilization of local forces. The residents of the area, service enterprises, and local authorities must cooperate more closely so that this natural asset can generate more income and create jobs.
There is a need for cleaning, lighting, road repairs, and better signage, as well as a more cultured attitude toward vacationers. If these problems are not solved in time, the tourist potential remains untapped. The tourist area requires daily work, not just seasonal waiting.

Again, the crossroads and solutions of agriculture
Agriculture has been and will remain one of the most important branches of our economy. Today, when the country is facing many difficulties, the increase in agricultural production is not only an economic need, but also a social necessity. In this sense, clear solutions are required, based on experience, science, and knowledge of the concrete conditions of our countryside.
It is not enough to note the difficulties. Their causes must be analyzed and the ways to overcome them must be defined. This requires reforming work organization, increasing responsibility, encouraging material interest, and making more rational use of land, water, and agricultural machinery. Without these, every call for more production remains incomplete.
Experience in recent years has shown that many decisions have been taken hastily, without being properly tested in practice and without being accompanied by concrete measures for implementation. This has brought fluctuations in production and confusion at the grassroots level. The countryside does not need endless experiments, but stability, correct guidance, and technical and financial support.
If we aim for a more developed agriculture, we must start from reality. The land must be worked responsibly, the leadership structures must be more functional, the specialist must be listened to, and positive experience must be spread. Only in this way can the crossroads be overcome and useful solutions for agriculture be found.

Again, the crossroads and solutions of agriculture
Agriculture and the backbone of our economy are going through a difficult period, where not only analysis is required, but above all clear decision-making and organized action. In the countryside there is a shortage of tools, spare parts, fuel, and fair incentives for work. These difficulties directly affect production.
To get out of this situation, appeals are not enough. The role of specialists must be strengthened, responsibilities made precise, economic relations improved, and conditions created so that the producer feels the benefit of his work. Only in this way can a real turning point be achieved.
On the other hand, the current organization of work in many agricultural sectors still retains outdated forms that hinder initiative. This requires a quick and courageous correction.

Has the worldview of the book’s lessons ended?
Questions of this kind arise not infrequently when discussing the place of theory and ideology in the formation of the human being. Nevertheless, even when a critical review of past experience is sought, this does not mean denying the value of knowledge, culture, and education. On the contrary, a deeper and more creative approach is required.
In this sense, the debate must avoid extremes: neither dogmatism nor nihilism. The school and the book have an irreplaceable role in the civilization of society.
