THE HONOR OF SOCIETY LIES IN WORK AND UNITY
Message
Esteemed society, first of all we understand that we all share the same feelings and the same concerns and wishes. We all know that in difficult periods moderation, self-restraint and unity are required. Work and social order are the foundation without which one cannot move forward. At this time responsibility falls on everyone, on the worker, the peasant, the intellectual, the young and the old. No one can stand aside. Everyday life requires dedication, calm and faith in the future. Only by strengthening discipline at work, by respecting the law and by defending social property can we overcome difficulties. Society does not stand on empty words, but on honest work and on unity. If we love our country, we must prove it through deeds. Today more than ever it is necessary for everyone to contribute where they work and live. Our enterprises, institutions, schools, villages and cities need calm and understanding. Everyone is called upon to avoid provocations, not to fall prey to rumors, and to keep their composure. Every thoughtless act harms the family, the collective and the country. The honor of society lies in work and unity. Only thus are human dignity preserved and faith in tomorrow strengthened.

Where there is work, there are no words
COLUMN
— this is the lesson of the day that comes from the troubled times and from the experience of our collectives. When people are busy with work, when everyone knows their own responsibility and carries out their duty, empty voices fall away on their own. A country cannot be held together by guesswork, by endless complaint and by waiting for someone else to solve everything. Great tasks require hands, minds and discipline. The worker in the factory, the miner in the tunnel, the peasant in the field, the teacher in the school and the doctor in the hospital give meaning to everyday life. Words have value only when they are supported by action. That is why today we need less noise and more work. There are those who seek to spread fog, to stir up anger and to divide people. But society is not built through division. It is sustained by understanding, order and honesty. In every enterprise and institution the sense of duty must be strengthened. No lost day ever comes back. Therefore each person must ask themselves not what they expect from others, but what they themselves contribute to improve work, service and common life. Where there is work, there are no words. There is order, there is calm and there is hope.
DECLARATION OF THE COUNCIL OF MINISTERS
In a difficult situation, the Council of Ministers calls on all citizens, workers and local authorities to take all measures to preserve public calm, order and the normal continuation of economic and social life. Productive enterprises and service institutions must function without interruption. Any obstruction to work, supply, transport, communication and public order directly harms the country’s general interests. State and local bodies are charged with keeping the situation under control and ensuring respect for the law. Citizens are invited to show composure and not fall prey to destabilizing calls. In these circumstances, more than ever, civic responsibility, unity and determination are needed. The Council of Ministers reiterates that problems are not solved through disorder, but through work, dialogue and the enforcement of the law. Only in this way can the interests of the people and the country be protected.
For democracy that takes you forward
True democracy cannot be understood as disorder, nor as the destruction of social order. It is closely linked to responsibility, respect for the law and the conscious participation of citizens in public life. To demand rights also means to accept obligations. No one benefits from chaos. In a society that seeks to move forward, democracy must be based on work, tolerance and civic dialogue. Only in this way can opportunities be created for improving life, strengthening institutions and solving real problems. A free voice is essential, but just as essential is the responsibility that this voice not be used for incitement, violence or division. Democracy that takes you forward is the one that unites, not the one that divides.
