show that candidates for deputy of the Party of Labour of Albania have won in over 65 percent of the areas.
The PPSH deputy nominees have won in over 65 percent of the areas. The candidates for deputy of the pluralist opposition have won 31 mandates.
THE NOMENKLATURA CANDIDATES OF THE PPSH have won in over 65 percent of the areas. The deputy nominees of the pluralist opposition have won 31 mandates.
In Tirana, PPSH candidates for deputy have won in over 32 areas; the opposition candidates have won in 7 areas.

The struggle, which will always continue against conservative forces, cannot be an obstacle to democratic developments in our country. The political forces that emerged from the elections of 31 March proved that the PPSH remains the leading political force enjoying the people's trust.
Together with the new democratic elements, our country must move forward on the path of reforms.

As was clearly seen also from the way the elections were conducted and from the people's participation, the vote of 31 March was a free expression of civic will. It confirmed the pluralist path and the need for social stability.
The conclusion of the electoral process is a victory for Albanian democracy.
