Let us leave yesterday's prejudices behind and build the future objectively

. More broadly, the assessment of political realism must also be seen in this light. After the 31 March elections and in the conditions of a developing political pluralism, various social and political forces have expressed different positions. These days it is essential to avoid hasty judgments and to look ahead with responsibility. Political wisdom, restraint, and the ability to dialogue are required. Only in this way can stability be ensured and the conditions created for solving the country's major economic and social problems. Experience so far shows that the path of confrontation serves no one. We must learn the new rules of pluralist life and the responsibilities they require.

We trust the figures

. In the Tirana electoral district too, where the runoff result was followed with particular attention, the figures are now decisive. They must be read clearly and without unnecessary passions. If the will of the voters has been expressed in a certain way, the institutions and political forces must respect it. This is the first test of democratic culture. Numbers are not merely statistics; they are a concrete expression of the citizens' political orientation.

For a renewed program

. In these circumstances, the renewal of the political program is seen as an important condition for meeting the challenges of the time. The experience of recent weeks has shown the need for greater clarity in objectives, more precise definitions, and more open communication with citizens. Such a program must be built on the real needs of society, on the pace of reforms, and on the demand for social justice.

I voted for democracy

. The voting of 31 March and 7 April was experienced by many citizens as a major political and civic test. Regardless of different affiliations, voters wanted their vote to have real weight in the direction of the country. The idea of democracy, linked to pluralism, responsibility, and peaceful change, became a key word in the public debate of these days.
