THE BOURGEOISIE SHOULD NOT "SOW" STRIKES AMONG US

Difficult times have brought pain to people, willingly or unwillingly. The water of tears, as it is in the record of the continent’s misfortunes and of one’s personal misfortunes, runs to the very last limit, and there the person, feeling hurt or belittled, takes the side of reason. In such a state a person falls into doubt and acts as if mocked or betrayed by his beloved system, for whatever reason, because of its own malice. The action is understandable. However, yielding and surrendering by abandoning every task for which a person is assigned and obliged to answer morally before his own conscience is not. Could the political conflict between the Serbs of Krajina and Croatia be solved by the strategy of a general strike? No sane person believes this. It would not even extinguish the fire between Jews and Arabs. Yet, despite this, in Kosovo the strike is being used as an instrument of pressure and blackmail. It is becoming a means of political direction. Not only in the sense of suspending the work process, but of massifying disobedience. This is dangerous and harmful. If today in Kosovo a strike is demanded as an expression of dissatisfaction with the general situation, against misery, insecurity, and the lack of perspective, that would be understandable. But here the strike aims at something else: to spread institutional paralysis on a large scale and produce chaos. And who benefits from this? Not the ordinary citizen, not the worker, not the peasant, but the political bourgeoisie, the one that feeds on disorder and fear. A strike cannot be an alibi for not working, nor for preventing others from working. It cannot be a tool with which the same hand strikes both bread and order. Instead of opening paths toward solutions, new barriers are being raised. Instead of organizing social life, its destruction is being cultivated. In Kosovo, after the recent events, it is easy to stir emotions and inflame conflicts. But precisely at such moments, restraint and responsibility are required. The honest citizen must not become an instrument of dark players. He must ask: who is demanding the strike, why is it being demanded, and in whose interest? If the strike becomes a political habit, tomorrow every grievance will replace work, production, and reason. Society is not built with stoppages, intimidation, and orders from behind the scenes. It is kept alive by effort, responsibility, and trust. Therefore, let the bourgeoisie not "sow" strikes among us. Kosovo needs work, calm, and clarity, not organized disorder.

IN A DEMOCRATIC SPIRIT AND WITH CONTEMPORARY DEMANDS

What do teachers say about the draft programme of the PPSH For implementation as quickly as possible of Albani — TROPOJË — Assessing the draft programme for the party platform, the participants see it as a working document, as guidance for the new times and for the new responsibilities that lie before the teacher and our school. In the discussions it was emphasized that the draft programme responds to the democratic spirit, political pluralism, and contemporary demands. The need to improve the quality of education, democratize the school, and expand the teacher’s role in the civic upbringing of the generations was underlined. More care was requested for the material conditions of schools, for textbooks, for the training of teaching staff, and for the involvement of parents in school life. The speakers pointed out that the PPSH must keep pace with the times, open itself to different opinions, listen to the voice of the grassroots, and support reforms that serve the nation and the citizen. — KORÇË — In similar meetings, teachers expressed opinions on the need to depoliticize the school, preserve the national character of education, and increase care for the figure of the teacher. They emphasized that without a strong school there can be no strong society. — SEDIN TAFANI [?] —
