At exactly 11 o'clock the news of the new government arrived. The deputies gathered in the hall of the People's Assembly for the plenary session. Before the agenda began, the decision of the Presidium of the People's Assembly appointing the new composition of the Council of Ministers was read out. In his speech before the deputies, the Chairman of the Council of Ministers, Ylli Bufi, presented the program of the new government and its composition. The People's Assembly then granted a vote of confidence to the new government. A program as close to the base as possible
TIRANA After receiving the vote of confidence it was approved unanimously. In its approved version, the new government that received the vote of confidence will have 20 ministries and 9 state committees. Greeted with long applause, the presentation made in the Assembly by comrade Ylli Bufi underlined the high responsibility assumed by the government emerging from the new elections. He said, among other things, that the new cabinet would not be a technical government, but a government with broad political and social representation, aiming to stabilize the country and develop democratic reforms. The government's program focuses on urgent economic and social measures, on solving the problems of supply, energy, transport, and public order. Emphasis was placed on the need for political dialogue and cooperation with all forces that accept the democratic path. The role of the rule of law, respect for citizens' rights, and the normal functioning of institutions was also highlighted. In conclusion, the deputies approved the new government.
