In the country, after 10 days of deep unrest, pain, joy and concern, hope and anxiety have been inextricably intertwined to make up our spiritual climate. People know our problems. They can be solved only through resilience, work and clarity.
We must understand that we are in a situation where the danger of uncontrolled confrontation is growing, but at the same time the need to act wisely, calmly and responsibly is greater than ever.
The developments of recent days, linked to the general strike of the unions and the political demands that have been put forward, have created a situation that requires deep discussion and clear decisions.
At the same time, our people are asking us not for general declarations, but for concrete solutions for bread, order, security and prospects.
The Party and its deputies must listen carefully to this voice and reflect with courage.
At the joint meeting of the Plenum of the Central Committee and the PPSH parliamentary group, the country’s political and social developments were examined responsibly, the situation that had been created was assessed, and the positions that must be taken in the interest of civil peace, constitutional order and the progress of democratic processes were discussed.
It was emphasized that political dialogue, respect for the law and avoidance of any violence are essential. A call was made for self-restraint, for maintaining calm, and for a high degree of civic and political responsibility.
It was also underlined that overcoming the crisis requires immediate economic and social measures, as well as understanding between political forces and institutions.

Our future chairman precisely, clearly and responsibly outlined the course of action to get out of the grave situation. He stressed that dialogue, calm, understanding and broad participation of all social forces are needed.
In the speech it was pointed out that no one can claim to speak in the name of the people without listening to them, without knowing their troubles and without respecting the free will of citizens.
It was also said that the country needs work, stability and a democratic order in which everyone has responsibility and no one is above the law.
This requires a new approach, measured and determined, far from demagoguery and political adventurism.

Is this the path to a solution? ...
In the life of nations, it is rare for a single decree to resolve many knots accumulated over the years. Nevertheless, our time demands not only analysis, but decisions as well.
If decisions are lacking, uncertainty, rumors and hasty actions fill the void. This is why in these days slogans must be avoided and real solutions sought, grounded in law and in the common interest.
Albania needs calm, functioning institutions and the strengthening of the rule of law. Every step that undermines these interests moves the country farther from a solution.
Responsibility, moderation and civic courage are required.

In many families shortages are keenly felt, while people anxiously await improvements in supply, transport and services. Nevertheless, the usual popular solidarity has not disappeared.
In markets, enterprises, schools and neighborhoods, conversations revolve around political developments and their daily consequences.
Citizens are demanding order, work and a safer future for their children.
Work continues in every collective
Despite the difficulties, in many work collectives efforts continue to avoid interrupting the pace of production and services.
Workers, technicians and specialists express their readiness to keep vital sectors of the economy going, while at the same time asking for better working conditions and solutions to material shortages.
In some enterprises, measures have been taken to better organize shifts, save raw materials and protect equipment.
Staying at work is seen as a civic duty in this difficult time.
Losses in the economy are increasing
ELBASAN — Various economic indicators show that interruptions, shortages of raw materials and transport difficulties are causing serious damage to production.
In some sectors, output has dropped sharply, while financial losses are growing. Specialists stress that the solution requires work discipline, securing supplies and better coordination between the links of the economy.
The situation calls for swift measures so that the damage does not deepen further.
