In yesterday’s session of the 10th Congress of the PPSH, important documents were approved... APPROVAL OF THE PROGRAM AND THE OVERTHROW OF THE GOVERNMENT[?] In yesterday’s session of the 10th Congress of the PPSH, important documents were approved for the country’s further political and social developments. The delegates discussed at length issues of the program, party organization, and the relationship with democratic processes in the country. Proposals were presented for changes to the statute, for the role of the leading structures, and for the attitude toward reforms. In the delegates’ remarks, the need for a party open to pluralism, capable of responding to the demands of society and ready to support democratic transformations, was emphasized. The country’s economic and social difficulties, as well as the need for institutional stability, were also pointed out. (ATSH)

The program and the composition of the government were taken up Yesterday morning the deputies of the People’s Assembly continued the plenary session, in which the program and the composition of the government were discussed. The discussions highlighted the strengths and weaknesses of the draft program, as well as the responsibilities of the new cabinet in dealing with the economic and social crisis. The deputies’ remarks addressed issues of supply, economic reform, administration, and public order. It was emphasized that solutions must be sought through political consensus, respect for the law, and the commitment of all social forces. It is a special moment and, as soon as... It is a special moment and, as soon as I have been given the floor, the 100 years of Albania’s history come to mind, how much suffering and sacrifice, how much blood and tears have been shed on this land. Today we stand before a great historical responsibility to bring the country out of crisis and to open a new path. We must find solutions for the economy, for supply, for order and for the rule of law. The people expect wise decisions and mature political conduct from us. The Party must change, open itself, listen to society, and adapt to the times. If we want to move forward, we must admit mistakes, draw lessons, and act realistically. Researchers from our country took part in the international seminar Albanology Today, Results and Perspectives, organized by the University of Vardarbës[?] in Italy In Italy, a scientific seminar dedicated to Albanology was held, in which researchers from our country and from other institutions took part. The presentations dealt with issues of the Albanian language, literature, history and culture, as well as future directions of research. The participants valued the importance of interuniversity cooperation, the exchange of publications, and the promotion of specialized studies. It was emphasized that Albanology needs broader contacts with European research centers and greater institutional support. (ATS[H])
