MESSAGE FOR THE PEOPLE'S BREAD

Today is the 23rd day of the hunger strike. The Socialist Party has never had in its program the denial of private property; on the contrary, it considers it essential for the functioning and development of the market economy. However, we also think that alongside private property, especially in agriculture, in addition to land, cooperative property should also exist. This is because the cooperative remains the most powerful means of helping and somewhat easing the implementation of the reform. Experience and practice over these months show this. And this is entirely natural, if we take into account the very difficult and miserable economic situation in the countryside. It needs investment, help, machinery, seeds, chemical fertilizers, credit facilities, etc. These can be secured much better and faster through the cooperation of producers. Otherwise, not only will the increase in agricultural production be very difficult, but in the worst case, a real and uncontrollable catastrophe could occur in the supply of bread and other food to the people. This is the main reason why we are, and will be, in favor of a well-studied and controlled agrarian reform, to be implemented gradually and without unnecessary trauma. We are against adventurism and hasty decisions that could blow up the entire agricultural production. THANA SHAHIÇU From the work of restoring paintings in the Historical Museum of the capital

Many specialists and teachers have spoken about the need for a modern curriculum that responds to the new conditions of society. It is emphasized that the reform must be based on the best experience and on national tradition, but also open itself to contemporary European developments.
