The people experienced the power of the PD
On 9 February in Tirana, young men and women, workers and intellectuals, pensioners and cooperative farmers gathered and organized in Skënderbej Square to demonstrate firmly against violence, chaos, and the failed policy of the PD government.
Those present chanted slogans against unemployment, poverty, and the country’s disorientation. At this rally it was emphasized that the people have practically experienced the power of the PD and that its grand promises were not kept.
Great shortages in the market were discussed, along with the decline in production, the paralysis of the administration, and the insecurity spreading in the city and the countryside. Political acts of violence and attempts to strike at the socialist opposition were denounced.
In the speeches delivered, it was underlined that the Socialist Party defends the interests of the working classes and calls for calm, order, legality, and democratic development. Citizens were urged not to fall prey to provocations and to express their will through democratic means.
The rally ended peacefully, with a demand that the country be brought out of the political and economic crisis and that those responsible for the situation created be held to account.

It was the second dangerous step of disregarding the law, violating the Constitution, and inciting civil confrontation. That is how the violent action of the local structures of the PD was assessed, as they sought to impose their will by force on the institutions.

It was emphasized that pluralism requires tolerance, a culture of dialogue, and mutual respect. Otherwise, the country risks sinking into an even deeper institutional and moral crisis.
Tropoja and Bajram Curri are represented by patriotic people
The residents of the district of Tropoja and the city of Bajram Curri express their opposition to attempts to portray this region as being manipulated by extremists. In their reactions, they stress that this city and region have patriotic traditions and civic dignity.
