The true face of the DP At the rally of 9.3.1992 as well as the opposition, today once again it exposed itself. “In solidarity” with the students of the “Elbasan” University and not with the other students. Their slogan was not like that. And the rally had completely different words, clearly demonstrating the true face of this party. It is not a party of students and calm, as it presents itself, but a party of political conflict, which, as it seems, finds it difficult to break away from the adventures and practices of the past.

Show of violence The terror, by decree and by force, during this campaign is taking on dangerous proportions. Yesterday, in the premises of the “Elbasan” University, students and teachers were subjected to political pressure. The closure of the universities is an unacceptable act and a blow to democracy. In many electoral zones, pressure, threats, and blackmail are being exerted. Instead of free political competition, fear is being imposed. (Continued on page 4)

There are cases when people are stopped, questioned, and asked to give explanations for political stances or participation in election meetings.
