STOP THE PSYCHOLOGICAL TERROR
AGAINST EDUCATION UNIONISTS
For some time now, rumors have been circulating about various moves, job transfers, leaving the party, dismissals, and so on. All of these, for certain categories of education workers, apparently are being presented as necessary measures and in the spirit of reform. In reality, under the guise of reform, pressure and psychological terror are being exerted on some education trade unionists.
Since the beginning of February, threatening and exclusionary moves have appeared. There are school principals who have addressed teachers with ultimatums, asking them to resign from trade union organizations or accept transfers. Dismissals have also been mentioned. These actions have created great uncertainty and concern among teachers.
It is being said that the reform of the education system is being used as a justification to target people with certain political views. Such a climate, besides harming the school, also undermines trade union freedoms and civil rights.

If the country is to move forward on a sound path, this will be achieved only by respecting human rights, property rights, freedom of speech and national rights.
