THE LEGITIMATE CONCERN ABOUT PROPERTY

7500 heads of families who have built homes and premises in recent years in Tirana are troubled by a questionable depauperative letter and the insecurity of the Republic.
About it they apparently write:
- IN RECENT MONTHS on TVS, not only the property of Italians, whether movable or immovable, but also ours or other assets earned through work and sweat, are being unlawfully transformed by certain pseudo-owners of the Fejzi Gjyta type. With their shamelessness and rudeness, calling us "thieves" and "inventors" of their property, they forget that our houses and buildings were built on our own land, with our own means, with our savings and with our children and not on someone else’s plot.
We have in hand all the necessary documents, payment receipts, building permits, the relevant decisions and everything else that proves the legality of our work. No one has the right to infringe upon our property. Despite this, some people, driven by low interests and a thirst for profit without sweat, try to throw mud on honest owners and on their labor.
We call on the President of the Republic, the justice authorities, local government and public opinion not to allow new injustices against thousands of Tirana families. Let property issues be resolved by law and not by pressure. We demand the protection of the law and of our sweat.

"ENVER'S WEEK"
In a case of such excesses, one thing at least deserves praise: the moderation of Mr. Spartak Ngjela’s sentimental outbursts, with which he tried to mislead public opinion regarding the commemorative activities honoring the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Party of Labour of Albania. No, Mr. Ngjela, no one has violated your freedom of speech, but neither can anyone accept that history be treated with bitterness and with today’s political standards.
Historical anniversaries are not banned by decree, nor are they proclaimed with party permission. History is not intimidated and cannot be prejudged. In the name of this principle, we believe that Albanian society must be able to listen and judge for itself, without censorship and without hysteria. Historical memory is part of the national conscience and cannot be erased by propaganda campaigns.
This is also why the fierce reactions against a commemorative program seem more like a sign of insecurity than proof of democratic strength.

THE POLICE HAVE RELEASED THE THIEVES OF THE DURRËS MUNICIPALITY
- It is now clear who were taken to answer for the law -
The propaganda of the PD deliberately minimizes the social consequences of an unjust law, and from all districts of the country strong reactions continue to come against the approval of this property law.
Referring to the information sent to us by the citizens of Durrës, it turns out that in the Municipality of this city numerous abuses with public funds and assets have been identified. However, the police have released the suspected perpetrators of these thefts, which has caused widespread indignation.
Citizens ask why the law acts harshly toward the poor and leniently toward those who abuse their office. If the state wants to win the public’s trust, it must show that justice is equal for all.
HISTORY IS NOT INTIMIDATED AND CANNOT BE PREJUDGED
(page 2)
There is a force, a justice, an order and a worldview that has long earned the great respect of humankind. This force is historical truth itself. It cannot be altered by political statements or by television insults.
If a society fails to come to terms with its own history, it risks losing its moral compass. For this reason, hasty judgments and propaganda condemnations serve neither the truth nor democracy.
