On a broad scale, the district has recently served everywhere also as an environment where hatred, revenge and policing are shamelessly displayed. The officials of the Democratic Party are carrying out shows of force, encouraging a climate of fear and pressure. This is happening in various centers, where the administration, the police and local structures are being used to strike at different thinking and to stifle the voice of the opposition. Under difficult political and social conditions, it is becoming clear that the aim is to exclude from public life those who do not agree with the official course. Verbal violence, threats, pressure on citizens, as well as a climate of psychological terror have become ordinary tools. This organized campaign aims to frighten, isolate and silence any alternative thinking. In many areas, activists and opposition representatives have been under constant pressure. There have been cases of arrests, provocations, arbitrary searches and humiliating behavior. This situation has undermined democratic freedoms and seriously damaged the climate of civil coexistence. The opposition considers this a clear sign of growing authoritarianism and calls on citizens and public opinion to react against this campaign of violence. It demands the restoration of the standards of the rule of law, respect for political rights and the guarantee of real pluralism.

At 9 o'clock on 9 March, in front of the building of the People's Assembly, the commemorative meeting was held in honor of the victims of the Skupti air accident. It was attended by senior state representatives, deputies, members of the government, the diplomatic corps, as well as the victims' family members. The speeches expressed deep sorrow over the tragic loss and emphasized the need for national solidarity in these difficult moments.
