STRICT POLICE MEASURES AGAINST FATOS NANO AGAIN

By order of the prison director, meetings and food for his son are forbidden . All those arrested, and especially Fatos Nano, are apparently being subjected to pressure and inhuman treatment. After four months in prison, Fatos Nano is facing a series of arbitrary and restrictive measures, from denial of meetings with family members to obstacles to sending food and personal items. According to information from the prison, its director has ordered that Fatos Nano’s son be denied a meeting with his father and that food brought by him also not be accepted. These measures have been seen as part of a harsh policy toward the former socialist prime minister. In line with earlier positions, the police authorities and prison officials are acting with increased severity. The article emphasizes that, in addition to restrictions on family contact, there are also other obstacles to communication and treatment.
