THE "LEGAL" STATE VIOLATES PARLIAMENT'S LAWS

Parliamentarians raise their voices to denounce the lie and injustice The legal panorama of what is happening in the criminal case against Fatos Nano provides further proof that power is using justice as a political tool. In the parliamentary session it was emphasized that the violations are numerous, from the way the defendant is treated to the bypassing of the procedures and powers of the Assembly. Opposition deputies raised direct questions to the prosecution bodies and to the role of the government in this process, considering it part of a deliberate climate of pressure and intimidation. According to the speakers, the laws of parliament have been subjected to political violation every time the independence of institutions is undermined and every time decisions are made under political orders. This situation, it was said in the chamber, distances the country from democratic standards and brings it closer to condemnable practices of the past. At the center of the criticism was also the selective attitude toward the law, where the opponent is treated as an enemy and where procedure is used to justify a predetermined sentence. The parliamentarians called for transparency, respect for human rights, and a return of the case to the tracks of constitutional legality. They warned that any decision taken in violation of the law will weigh not only on the directly responsible persons, but on the credibility of the state itself. Their message was clear: the rule of law cannot be built by violating the laws of parliament.

Albania on the path of staged political trials

The prosecution side has sought for the defendant the death penalty and for the other defendants 25 years of imprisonment. At the end of the court session, the prosecutor declared that: with this decision he put an end to their criminal activity. Pale and drained, Fatos Nano emerged from the courtroom. In the company of the special forces detachment and amid the hissing and shouting of the controlled crowd, he stood once again. Calmly, he met with his relatives, with the honorable Mrs. Xhoi. This was the moment when, before the eyes of all those present, the wild, unbelievable tragedy occurred. The wise, suffering, grieving lady burst into tears and her admirable courage broke like crystal. She lost consciousness. She was breathless. It took minutes and the help of doctors for her to come to herself. The shaken person could not help asking: why? Why all this malice? For what reason? Why such boundless hatred? These are the questions being asked today by all democratic Albania. This question was also put to the prosecutor from the very beginning, even by the defendant himself. And the answer of the head of the prosecution was a single one: because he had committed crimes. Mr. Prosecutor told the criminal acts of Fatos Nano. To steal the pension of mothers, to steal babies' milk, to steal the army's cheese, to steal the Albanian economy's kakavall cheese. This was the indictment brought against a former prime minister of the country. A frontal attack on a person's integrity, on his dignity, a violation of civic conscience and public morality. Of course, the first question that naturally arose was: where is the evidence? These were heard eagerly in the courtroom. The prosecution witnesses brought back there the standard minutes of political pressure. Empty formulas were repeated. The familiar alibis were heard again. Unreal accounts, contested expert reports, conjectures and deliberate interpretations were presented. But still nothing that could support the burden of a serious criminal accusation. Instead of a regular legal process, public opinion once again saw a fabricated scenario, where big words took the place of facts and where punishment was demanded before guilt had been proved. This made the political climate even heavier, a climate that for months has been fed with a spirit of revenge and with the desire to eliminate the opponent. In a country that seeks to become part of Europe, political trials cannot be mounted with the trappings of justice and directed by hatred. The country needs independent institutions, impartial justice, trials based on evidence and not on slogans. Any deviation from this standard harms the state, society, and democracy itself. This process has now become a symbol of the clash between a power that seeks to humiliate the opponent and an opinion that seeks to know the truth. And truth cannot come from slogans, nor from the crowd's shouting. It comes from law, from evidence, from respect for the human being. Otherwise, Albania will remain on the path of staged political trials.

Police state prevents lawful rallies from taking place

It is learned in the circles closest to the organizers of the opposition rally that, after the request was made for it to be held, the relevant authorities intervened to prevent it. According to the initial reactions, this stance is considered another violation of the constitutional right to assembly and peaceful protest. Representatives of the opposition have stated that such decisions aim to create a climate of fear and isolate dissenting voices. In comments made regarding this issue, it is said that the police are exceeding their powers, becoming an instrument of a prohibitive policy that runs counter to democratic norms. The organizers insist that lawful rallies cannot be treated as a threat to public order; on the contrary, they are part of the normal political life of a pluralist society. They call on the authorities to withdraw the obstructive measures and guarantee the free exercise of this fundamental right. The event has also caused a reaction in public opinion, where it has been noted that preventing civic gatherings does not solve political conflicts, but deepens them. Respect for the law and for public freedoms, it is said in the reactions, is a necessary condition for a democratic state.

WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE 1 MILLION 600 THOUSAND DOLLARS STOLEN ON THE BACKS OF THE POOR PEOPLE?

Asidit and III Hol, or those who carried it away behind them? The theft of the shit-spacatol? is malicious speculation. At least from what is coming to light, from yesterday's court session against former Prime Minister Fatos Nano, it was clear that the “hole” of 1.6 million dollars in the construction of the Puppet Theater is a fabrication and a deliberate misinterpretation. According to the data mentioned, these were funds used for various purchases and supplies, later presented as financial abuse. The explanations given said that speculation with the figures was used to create a political effect and to feed public opinion with the idea of a great theft. But, according to the defense, the documents and concrete actions do not support this version. Instead of real responsibilities, propagandistic labels are being used to strike at the political opponent. The question raised by this article is whether there will ever be real accountability for manipulating the facts and for using the poverty of the people as a rhetorical weapon in a court case.

STATE BANK - A POKER TABLE WHERE THE BOSSES PLAY WITH 1.6 MILLION DOLLARS

Jalal Galiçka, Hori, Erliann, Lulzimi, T? have not agreed, declaring that at the start of the session they addressed Mrs. Xheni: “You wretch and wretch, why are you crying?” During the court session, the editorial presents a harsh political and moral picture, in which the management of public funds is portrayed as a dirty game of interests. The article uses the figure of the “poker table” to denounce the way, according to it, 1.6 million dollars were handled on the backs of the people. At the same time, episodes of tension in the courtroom are also described, with insults directed at the defendant's family members. The author raises questions about the responsibility of those who benefited or remained silent, linking these to the degradation of public ethics and the instrumentalization of the process. The tone is strong and accusatory, aiming to build the idea that behind the trial lies a structure of power that plays with large sums and with people's destinies.
