On October 6, 1992, because the sewage collector was not functioning, the ground slid, damaging homes and creating hardship for the families living in an apartment block in the “31 Korriku” neighborhood of Fier.
In addition, the access road to this building has collapsed by 15 meters and continues to collapse. For these problems the residents have appealed to a number of bodies and institutions, but no one has lifted a finger.
All the families in this building are without water. The most problematic issue is electricity, because the power cable has been damaged. It is not clear whether there will be any solution or not. The residents are asking for intervention to resolve the situation that has arisen.
