At the end of April, the executioners of the notorious SHIK brigade, on 24.4.1993, in the middle of the night, raided the disco club “ALBANIA” for no reason at all. The reason was trivial. They had discovered that a giant screen with a video projector had been installed there for demonstration and advertising purposes. The equipment was sent from the USA at the request of Kastriot Islami and his friends. Berisha's favored man, through his servant Gazidede, instead of taking it peacefully, ordered the venue to be raided and the giant screen and projector to be seized by force, with the aim of handing them over to him or to one of his people. And that man is Arben Gjushka. The son of Sali Berisha's brother-in-law, the lawyer of the Tirana Center. The abuse and injustice do not end here. Before the venue was raided, dozens of armed executioners and door-breakers came to the office of the company “Matis”. They threatened the driver and the security guard with an automatic weapon. Then, by arbitrary order and without a SHIK document, they forcibly took the keys to the company's warehouse and savagely raided the offices, depots and warehouses. Then they made absurd accusations. The SHIK men behaved like ordinary thieves, taking items and goods as they pleased. Among the stolen loot was also a small safe, in which there were 45 million Italian lire, 14 thousand German marks, and 15 million Greek drachmas. As is easily proven with bank documents, sales contracts and customs papers, this money was in transit for the import of goods from Greece. SHIK made no report at all for the money taken, which constitutes outright theft. Above all, the purpose of the raid and robbery was to seize by force the giant screen with the video projector in order to hand it over to Arben Gjushka. As soon as he got it, he placed the screen in his “Aulona” venue so that from there, in the form of criminal competition, he could take customers away from the “ALBANIA” venue.
