HAJDIN SEJDIA HAS HELPED BRING DOWN THE NANO GOVERNMENT

NANO GOVERNMENT ... the other decree. Who is afraid of the truth? Can we calmly state today that the political decision of 9 May was ordered by the pursuing indictment? The rumors circulating recently make one think. They are attributed to and cause concern with specific political and other names. Particular attention has recently been given to the August article in “Ballkan”, where it was publicly accused that former president Alia “has left hostages and fifth columns” and it was declared that “there is no power in the world that can protect him.” These statements have also been repeated in connection with Hajdin Sejdia and accompanied by political commentary. Linking them to the current circumstances, one cannot help but ask whether his role in the political movements of recent days has been exaggerated. The question arises whether Hajdin Sejdia’s name was used or not to strike at the Nano government, at a time when clashes between institutions had reached their peak. Against this background, some voices speak of direct interventions in favor of its downfall. If these accusations are true, then we are dealing with a dangerous intertwining of political interests, propaganda, and manipulation of public opinion. Otherwise, there is a serious defamation with major political consequences. In any case, Hajdin Sejdia’s name has become part of a broader debate about responsibility for the government crisis and the latest political developments in the country.

In particular, the need to preserve political stability in the country through constructive dialogue among political forces was emphasized. Mr. Ryerson, after thanking him for the useful and interesting information, said that the USA and other Western countries regard Albania as a country important for stability and security in the Balkans. On the other hand, the chairman of the SP also held talks with the ambassador of Greece in Tirana, Mr. Constandin Prevezanos. The focus of the discussion was Albania’s relations with Greece and the Balkan countries. Mr. Nano reaffirmed that the SP considers stable relations with its neighbors a necessity for Albania’s integration into European structures.

Police officers must protect, not take human lives

Government of Albania for two years [?] president of the Committee Meanwhile [?] We ask the legislators who the administration of the [?] We, the intellectuals of the Lezhë district, are indignant against the violence used against citizens and against the overstepping of authority by the law-enforcement bodies. It cannot be accepted that the police, which must protect order and human life, should become the cause of loss of human lives. This concern comes after the recent events, where the use of force has raised serious doubts about respect for the law and human rights. We demand a full, impartial investigation and that the perpetrators be held accountable. We call on state institutions, the organs of justice, and public opinion to react firmly to these acts and to guarantee that such events do not happen again.
