THE CRIME OF APRIL 10 MUST BE PURSUED TO THE END

The demand to expose and punish the criminals in uniform, greco, must not be separated from the demand to hold responsible those who, through their incompetence and inaction, created favorable ground

Mirisaj and Gazidede are not the only culprits...

PRESBISM In this country, for everything there is a rush to find an immediate culprit. For serious events, for institutional failures, for political tensions, the fingers are immediately pointed at well-known names, as if that were enough to close every case. But the truth is more complicated. If we remain focused on individuals, we will not understand the mechanism that produces failures. It is not enough to say that so-and-so is the cause. The system, the way it is led, the chain of command, the silence, the inaction, the lack of control and the inability to prevent events must be examined. In this sense, neither Mirisaj nor Gazidede can serve as an alibi for others. Even if they have their responsibilities, those do not settle the matter. On the contrary, the issue begins precisely where it is sought to be closed with specific names. A full investigation and a broad approach are needed to bring to light not only the direct actors, but also the political and institutional climate that made such a situation possible. First and then second...

Do not be surprised by the word i serqet. He does this for the government where he is minister The head of the so-called Ministry of Defense, Safet Zhulali, said two days ago that a Greek ship flying the Albanian flag was firing on Albanian ships near Saranda, coming under fire from Albanian forces, while an Albanian ship was striking the Greeks with a cannon and the ship had been damaged by its flames. That a ship flying the Albanian flag, engaged in a clash with a Greek ship and with the Greek naval forces, fires on Albanian ships is a statement as strange as it is completely incomprehensible. It is clear that this is a way of throwing dust in people’s eyes over what really happened at the border and of distracting attention from the real problems. For days public opinion has been demanding precise answers: what happened on the southern border, who is responsible, why was the deterioration of the situation allowed, and who should bear political and institutional responsibility. Instead, the public is fed murky versions, conflicting statements and insinuations that do not serve the truth. In this context, the incompetence of the responsible structures to manage the situation, inform the public and guarantee security becomes apparent. When fabrications are given instead of facts, when fog is spread instead of clarity, suspicion grows even stronger. That is why responsibility cannot remain only with the direct perpetrators of the event. It must also be sought among those who, through their incompetence, negligence and inaction, created the conditions for such events to occur. It is not the first time that senior officials make contradictory statements. But when it comes to the country’s borders, the lives of soldiers and the dignity of the state, irresponsible statements are more than mistakes: they are part of the problem. A full investigation, transparency and the assignment of responsibility are required. Without these, the crime of April 10 cannot be fully exposed, nor can all those who have their share in this story be punished.
