With the conviction of Fatos Nano, PD aims to eliminate other political alternatives

— court decisions are not intended to close the "Nano case" — The trial and conviction of the ready-made opposition in this country. The fact that this trial has been political in nature is beyond any doubt, as shown not only by the scandal involving the judge, but especially by the decisions taken by the PD government, which directly influence the court's ruling. Specifically: before the Court of Cassation issues its decision in the Fatos Nano case, the government has decided to dissolve SHKP, the body that approved and controlled the Italian credit. Naturally, this dissolution aims to erase the traces of the real guilt and present the case as if only Fatos Nano were at fault, who, according to the accusation, would have been the only person responsible for that credit, the one who administered the government and the state. Likewise, in recent days much has been said about the politicization of this case, about pressure on the court, about phone calls and interference. All this proves that the process is not legal, but political. The real goal is the elimination of other political alternatives in Albania, by frightening the opposition and striking at its leaders. This is a bad signal for democracy, pluralism, and the country's future. Instead of building independent institutions, state mechanisms are being used to attack opponents. This cannot bring stability, but only an aggravation of the political climate and a loss of citizens' trust in justice. The Socialist Party and other opposition forces cannot accept this double standard. The Nano case remains open not only as a legal issue, but as a major political and moral problem for the country. If this path continues, then Albania risks moving away from the fundamental principles of the rule of law. Full transparency, institutional accountability, and a fair trial independent of the government and partisan interests are required. Only in this way can public trust be restored and it be guaranteed that no one will be convicted for political reasons.

The real time of Albanian politics

SHKODËR Political activity in pluralism requires more responsibility, more truthfulness, and closer connection with the citizen. In conditions where Albanian society is facing many economic and social problems, politics cannot remain limited to declarations and confrontations. It must provide concrete solutions and create trust. In this framework, political forces must learn to dialogue and respect one another, without treating the opponent as an enemy. Democracy wins when there is competition of ideas and when the citizen feels that their voice is heard. Shkodra, as one of the cities with strong civic traditions, remains an important example of public debate and participation. The path toward mature politics requires honesty, state culture, and the ability to compromise in the country's interest. Only then can one speak of a real time of Albanian politics.

In a statement by the Trade Union Council of the Lezhë district, concern is expressed about the difficult economic and social situation of workers. According to the statement, the candidates for leadership of the trade union organizations must genuinely represent the interests of the membership and not be imposed from above. Trade unions must be independent, defend labor rights, and seek concrete solutions for unemployment, wages, and living conditions. Otherwise, they lose their representative role and the trust of their members. The statement calls for transparency, fair elections, and broad participation of workers in the trade union process.

The links and communication of parliamentarians with voters

Note / In that case ... Elected representatives have the duty to maintain continuous contact with voters, listen to their concerns, and account to them for the work they do. Without this communication, representation loses its meaning and parliament drifts away from the reality of citizens. In the conditions of transition, this need becomes even greater, because citizens expect concrete solutions and transparency. Regular contact with voters is not merely a moral duty, but an essential part of the democratic functioning of institutions.

The prosecutor's office in the kindergarten

BULOZË Instead of a routine administrative inspection, the prosecutor's office intervened in a kindergarten, causing surprise and concern in public opinion. According to local reactions, such an action is unjustified and shows the tendency to extend pressure even to institutions that are not of a politically conflictual nature. The event has been commented on as an example of an atmosphere of insecurity and of the excessive use of state bodies. Residents and workers are asking for clarification and respect for legal competencies.
