This blood was warned of before it was shed. In these circumstances it becomes clear that those who organized the massacre knew for what purpose it was being organized, while at the same time declaring that the majority had turned to the prosecutor’s office and law-enforcement bodies to investigate the event in question. What happened in Libofshë is a pure political provocation. Its aim was to create a state of emergency, to strike at the opposition, to frighten the people and to continue down the path of violating the law. We cannot agree to this. Socialists cannot in any way tolerate the violation of the people’s free vote and the dignity of the lawmaker. In this grave situation, it is necessary to urgently identify the organizers and instigators of this tragedy. The law must apply to everyone, regardless of the position and office they hold. Military and intelligence structures cannot be allowed to be used for political purposes and for terror against citizens.” Following the statement, it was announced that in the districts of Fier, Lushnjë and Mallakastër there is a mobilization of PSP structures to follow developments and to demand justice for the victims of Libofshë.
