The noise against the Socialist Party cannot hide the failures and political irresponsibility of the Democratic Party
STATEMENT BY THE LEADERSHIP OF THE SOCIALIST PARTY OF ALBANIA
In this crisis and panic of the government, which attacks the opposition and especially the Socialist Party, it is clear that it is not arguments that serve it, but slander, fabrications and insinuations.
The Socialist Party of Albania, firmly defending the interests of the Albanian people and the country's European future, has responsibly denounced the mistakes, incompetence and corruption of the current government.
Attempts to divert public opinion from the country's real problems, from poverty, unemployment, violation of the law and the partisan use of the state, cannot succeed.
The Democratic Party bears political responsibility for the economic crisis, for the extreme polarization of political life and for the language of hatred that is poisoning the social climate.
We call on public opinion not to fall prey to propaganda and to judge on the basis of facts and the national interest.
The Socialist Party will continue to remain a responsible opposition force, committed to democracy, the rule of law and social justice.

THE CONSTITUTION ON THE AGENDA
WILL THERE BE A COUP D'ÉTAT IN ALBANIA?
- The President's decree for the Assembly is unconstitutional in its very idea -
The idea of a Constituent Assembly in various forms has also been put forward by the country's political opposition.
In our country, no parliamentary group, no political party and no other body can replace the constitutional order with unilateral initiatives.
The debate on the constitution must be inclusive and transparent, not a tool for concentrating power.
The democratic path requires dialogue, consensus and respect for the law.

FOR THE SOCIALIST PARTY OF ALBANIA
If the people of this country feel powerless in the face of injustice, that is a consequence of the breakdown of social and institutional balances.
A democratic society cannot live with fear and exclusion.
Progressive forces must act with moderation, but also with determination, to restore trust in politics and the state.
This requires responsibility and social solidarity.
