Get yourselves a job first, then call them “enemies” if you want

- The PD seeks to create political capital with a whelk of time and revolutions. - The “mafia of politicization”, against the Socialist Party, is an attempt to blur responsibility for millions of illegal drachmas. - The PD with the consequences of the PD’s policies STATEMENT TO THE PRESS Taking as a starting point Sali Berisha’s accusations against the PSSH, Mr. Pëllumbi assessed that such statements aim to create deliberate obstacles on the path of reforms and to stir political tension. According to the statement, the Socialist Party has continually called for dialogue and institutional cooperation, while the government tries to evade its responsibilities. The text says that the use of political labels such as “enemies” or “paralysis” does not help the democratic climate and is contrary to the need for stability, employment, and economic reconstruction. The statement emphasizes that attention must focus on citizens’ concrete problems and not on propaganda proclamations. It also stresses that the problems of the economy, unemployment, and poverty cannot be covered up by political accusations, and that responsibility for the situation remains with the policies pursued by the PD.

The Constituent Assembly, by order of the PD, was invented by the PD

“The Constituent Assembly is not an institution of our house or of the PS” This is how Ylli Bufi spoke in parliament on behalf of the Socialist parliamentary group, opposing the Democrats’ initiative for unilateral constitutional changes. According to him, the constitution must be the product of broad consensus and not of party imposition. He stressed that any solution outside political cooperation would bring division and damage the legitimacy of the institutions. During the debate, it was underlined that the Socialists are ready to contribute to a constitutional solution, but not to accept impositions from the majority.
