WITH PD OR WITHOUT PD, ALBANIA MUST BE MADE WITH A CONSTITUTION

- Interview of the Socialist Party deputy chairman Namik Dokle given to editor Hamdi Jupe - How is the leadership of the Socialist Party responding to the referendum on the Constitution? Today, Namik Dokle was in Tirana and held a conversation with our editor-in-chief, Hamdi Jupe, about the referendum on the Constitution and the political developments of the last few days. Instead of the question of the Constitution becoming a matter of broad national and civic approval, it has been politicized and used as a tool for pressure. We have clearly said that Albania cannot remain without a Constitution. With PD or without PD, Albania must be made with a Constitution. The Socialist Party has presented its positions and has called for the broadest possible consensus. The Constitution is not the property of a party, but the fundamental act of the state and of the citizens.
