MEKSI’S “NEW” GOVERNMENT - 3 IN RESUSCITATION
IN PARLIAMENT:
MEKSI’S “NEW” GOVERNMENT - 3
IN RESUSCITATION
- The drawn-out marathon by the ever-present right-wing deputies and the secret ballot, the false and invalid vote by a Socialist Party deputy.
- Nothing has changed. Except for the extension of its artificial breath, the Meksi government continues to breathe with machines.
- Ali Spahia fears the secret ballot; the vote of the serfs for the Duke’s ranks.
- Only those sick with symptoms of glasnost are allowed into the hall; the other patient must take the sedatives through the megaphone.
- The vote on Meksi’s government on Wednesday was postponed until after midnight. Naturally, because of a lack of quorum. The quorum was achieved only after, in a secret ballot, one of the Socialist Party deputies drew the attention of the majority of right-wing deputies. So much so that, in order to avoid this truth, the chairman of the PD parliamentary group, Tritan Shehu, claimed before journalists that this opposition deputy must have confused the secret ballot box with the open ballot box?! Naturally, this version can hardly be considered a harmless blunder. On the contrary, in yesterday’s fully secret vote the above-mentioned opposition deputy, according to the Assembly, became part of the majority for as long as he voted against his own group and thereby helped decide the fate of a government that was breathing with machines and with votes obtained in such an illegal and immoral way.
For the boys with earrings in Ali Spahia’s court, things are now clear. Their time with the opposition’s harems has ended. As a result, the new obstacles, based on Article 17 concerning the deputy’s mandate and on a deputy’s individual vote, have no coherence whatsoever with what the Albanian Parliament approved last week. Naturally, not everything will remain without political cost. The violation of the Constitution, the rules of procedure, and parliamentary morality will have its own bill.
Yesterday, in the late hours of the night, the session continued with interruptions, the replies of a familiar style, and the display of the same parliamentary theater of a majority that cannot hide its crisis.
A prime minister who has no respect for parliament does not respect the people who elected this parliament

A rootless and superficial prosecutor’s office, without roots and without law?
The General Director of the Prosecutor’s Office, when asked by journalists about proceedings initiated against Mr. Fatos Nano, said that the case file had been sent for further checks.
If this institution remains only a tool of political propaganda, then justice risks losing its meaning.
Where does it end!
It is no coincidence that the prime minister proposes to the Presidium of the Assembly to take a three-hour break until after midnight. Along with that, he confidently declared that there would be no problems with the quorum. And that is what happened.
Mr. Spaho promised and delivered, but now on a completely different ground and one that is utterly unworthy of any politician.

Questions sent to Prime Minister Meksi
Fatmir Adili
1. Are your people convinced that the mandate of your prime minister is directly tied to peace in the country?
2. Do you not understand that using every means to delay the secret ballot exposed your fear of the free judgment of the deputies?
6. Do you feel legality in the vote? Do you seek opinions about your government in the chamber or outside it?
7. Do you consider it right to decide the fate of the government through an invalid vote?

A different view from yesterday’s session
16. THE EXPLANATION OF MR. SHABAN DEMIRAJ
The Academy of Sciences of Albania must not be allowed to be ruined and dismantled
In the national session, there is no doubt that a part of the nation is being destroyed through the destruction of culture. The Academy of Sciences of Albania is today violent, destructive for science, and should be upheld as it is.
Mr. Shaban Demiraj, you personally direct in other directions, with power. The Academy and the scientific cabinet, with their advance scientific work, their entire activity, in its place, are halted; no work is being done.
It is no coincidence that in the Assembly hall during this vote there were interruptions, replies, and tension. This was the true reflection of the government crisis.
It cannot be accepted that a national institution such as the Academy of Sciences becomes an object of political games.
Respectfully, deputies of the People’s Assembly
