Major scandals arise from below and responsibilities from below and the middle
- narrow analysis? the issue is never emphasized by the editorial staff -
“At least this is how the treatment of the numerous files of abuses and thefts that are coming to light should be considered. On the one hand there are strong denunciations, on the other the responsibilities remain scattered and no one carries the full burden of guilt. This makes it difficult to uncover the truth and fuels the suspicion that the scandals are being used for political purposes.
If the investigations do not go all the way, there is a risk that the scandals will remain only media noise. Public opinion demands clear answers and punishment for everyone involved.”

PRIVATIZATION THROUGH A POLITICAL AUCTION

Speculation and abuse in the name of reform
- Letter to the editor -
“Was it supposed to work and produce? Why not? Foreign capital? Yes, and to compete with domestic goods. To take the place of the honest... But what is happening today? The privatization of ‘Peshkimi Artizanal’, as is happening here in Shengjin, is being carried out to the detriment of the workers and in favor of a handful of people. Those of us who have worked for years know what sacrifices were made for this enterprise. Now we see that everything is passing into the hands of a few persons with suspicious documents and decisions.
We are told that this is called reform, but for us it is only speculation and abuse. We demand that this process be reviewed and that the injustices being done be stopped.”
