The release of FATOS NANO was demanded by democracy threatened by the «Berisha regime»

Albanian[?] and how much they have truly come closer to it. Naturally, our struggle is supported by broad opinion in the country and abroad. Together with the demand for the release of Fatos Nano, the issue of releasing all the other persons who are being politically persecuted and are still being held in the prisons of the regime is also being pressed insistently. This is not a simple humanitarian issue, but above all a political one that raises the necessity of restoring democracy. This is the essence of developments in Albania, and this is the main problem on which we must concentrate our attention and our efforts. Above all, together with Fatos Nano, we call for the uprooting of that system which produced his imprisonment and seeks to legitimize political punishment through violence. The political struggle against this situation cannot be reduced to a personal confrontation, but must take on the dimensions of a civic and social resistance. In this sense, the release of Fatos Nano represents a real test for Albanian democracy. There can be no political normalization without the end of political revenge and without respect for democratic standards. We have the duty to speak clearly and to act persistently so that injustices and violations do not remain in silence. If today the release of an opposition leader is demanded, this is because at the same time the protection of freedom, pluralism, and human rights for everyone is being demanded. This is why solidarity with Fatos Nano has taken on broad dimensions and why many voices from within the country and from abroad have risen in his support. Any further development will depend on the ability of Albanian democracy to defend itself from arbitrariness, fear, and the use of justice for political ends.

CONSOLIDATION OF THE PARTY STRUCTURES IS AN IMPORTANT OBJECTIVE OF DAILY WORK

Dr. Luam Dardha: For qualitative growth, the contributions of the forums and grassroots organizations of the PSSH are indispensable. The continuous consolidation of the party's grassroots organizations, its leadership structures and its various forums is a requirement of the times, so that they may become more effective in fulfilling their political and programmatic mission. This is closely linked to strengthening the role of the membership, expanding participation in decision-making and increasing accountability at every level of organization. In conditions of rapid political and social developments, the party must be able to communicate better with people, understand their concerns and articulate credible alternatives. For this reason, daily work with the structures is not a matter of routine, but an important political objective that requires method, persistence and organizational discipline. Strengthening the structures also means improving the quality of debate, analysis and responsibility for carrying out tasks. The grassroots organizations remain the foundation on which the entire activity of the party is built; without their normal and creative functioning there can be neither proper representation nor real influence in political life. Experience so far has shown that where structures are active, open and connected to the community, the party gains greater authority and ability to act. Therefore, their consolidation should be seen as an ongoing process linked to political education, the preparation of cadres and the cultivation of a spirit of cooperation.

The workshop of Dibër gave light to Tirana

Crisis aspect After the power interruption in Tirana, due to a serious fault, the civilian government ordered army units to begin repairs urgently. The reserve station of Dibër, activated under difficult conditions, supplied the capital with electricity and prevented more serious consequences. The workers and specialists of the workshop worked without interruption to cope with the situation. In the early hours of the morning, after several technical interventions were carried out, the network was partly stabilized. According to official announcements, parts of Tirana continued to face restrictions, but the overall supply improved. The authorities stressed that the situation remains fragile and that immediate investment is needed to prevent the crisis from recurring. Residents of the capital awaited the long interruptions with concern and asked for explanations about the worn-out state of the system. Meanwhile, the contribution of the specialists from Dibër was praised, as they made it possible to restore electricity to the capital through their experience and sacrifice.

For the objectives of the political year '95

The Socialist Party Auditorium Gëzon Kuci: 1995 is a very important period for the socialists. The objectives of the work for this year are linked to expanding political influence, better organizing the structures, increasing presence in public opinion and preparing the party for the challenges brought by the country's development. The responsibility is great and requires coordination of all the leading levels. Within this framework, ideological and political work has a special place, clarifying the party's platform and educating the membership to face public debate. The political year '95 must be used to strengthen unity, deepen contacts with citizens and build clear alternatives to government policies. These objectives cannot be achieved without organizational discipline, open dialogue and a fair assessment of the experience gained so far. Every forum, every organization and every member has their share of responsibility in this process.

A disgusting phenomenon that continues to cause panic

Abandonment[?]mej The continuation of bad weather and rainfall has created new difficulties in several areas of the country. Traffic has been hampered on many rural roads, while considerable damage has been reported in inhabited centers. Emergency structures have called for caution and for following the instructions of the authorities. The panic has been increased especially by the lack of accurate information, which has favored the spread of alarming rumors. In some cases, citizens have reacted in a disorderly way, leaving their homes or gathering in open places. Specialists are calling for communication with the public to be fast and reliable in order to avoid further consequences. Although the situation is being kept under control, the authorities admit that poor infrastructure and a lack of equipment make the response slower. This is why the phenomenon continues to cause panic and to generate a sense of insecurity among the population.

Defence of Bulgaria

In Smolnik the archduke settles matters with the police The elections, republicans, four nationalists and liberals do not rule out a coalition with the conservatives. Disappointed by the declarations of the government, the archduke of Smolnik demanded clarity about the role of the police and the administration in the process. Observers noted a tense climate and mutual accusations among the political forces. In the first comments, it was said that the election result could affect the orientation of Bulgarian defense and foreign policy.
