The people will know how to compare. For the socialist group of duty dis... maybe? ... and in particular toward the PD. The chairman of the Socialist Party in Rrëshen, Ndoc Bushati, said that not even in the time of the dictatorship were accusations of this kind made as are now being made against the real opposition. The President’s accusations are nothing but an attempt to terrorize the SP and frighten the electorate. These statements constitute a serious violation of the law. BERISHA (PROPOSES?) strategy? trisoni? I think a clear and responsible opposition must be built. Let us not allow ourselves to be intimidated through slander and pressure. The people know who has defended their interests. If the President appears on television to attack a legal party, that is unacceptable. Instead of dialogue, he chooses the language of political violence. This serves neither democracy nor the country. Our position is clear: elections must be free, fair, and without pressure. The victory of the socialists in the Greek parliamentary elections first of all shows that the Greek people no longer accept a harsh policy toward Albania. If these relations are guided by the principles of good neighbourliness and mutual respect, then a new road will open for both peoples. This visit by Greek Foreign Minister Papoulias to Tirana is an important step in strengthening bilateral relations. For a long time, various issues have created tensions, but resolving them requires political will and a spirit of understanding. Albania and Greece are condemned by geography to live next to one another; for this reason, they must find a common language of cooperation.
