Where is it and where do they look for it...
- Interview with PS figure Luan Hajdaraga given to journalist Bashkim Hoxha -
- Recently PS has been making efforts, through the press, to present itself to the public, but it continues to use the state under its dominance, until it involves the country in a Western Europe. But isn’t this simply a final argument in the general political conflict?
- It is quite right that I begin our conversation with this question, but answering it means clarifying a series of important issues as well. There is no doubt that it is precisely on this front that the government is trying to portray the opposition, that is, the PS, as a destabilizing factor. We have been and remain in favor of functional democracy and the consolidation of democratic institutions. In this sense, we have demanded the proper implementation of the Constitution and the laws, respect for real pluralism, fair political competition, and the rights of the opposition.
It must not be forgotten that during this time it has been the government that has used the instruments of the state and propaganda to attack its political opponent. We have reacted to such phenomena and have called for serious political dialogue.
If the government and its propaganda call this destabilization, then we are dealing with a reversal of meanings. On the contrary, a strong and responsible opposition is a condition of democracy.
Today the country faces economic and social difficulties, corruption, unemployment, and emigration. These are not invented by the opposition. Government accountability is required for them.

Peter: - How do you explain the rise of our socialist force to the center?
PS chairman: - Today things are clearer. If we had had an impartial media and free elections, the opposition would have been stronger.
Peter: - Why is there still disappointment among citizens?
Answer: - Because there is unemployment, injustice, and a lack of trust in institutions. These are wounds that require solutions.
Peter: - And what will you do differently?
Answer: - We will establish dialogue, the rule of law, and economic development with a human face.
