PRIVATIZATION VOUCHERS MUST SERVE THE MASS OWNERSHIP OF ALBANIANS, NOT THEIR ROBBERY

The parliamentary group of the Socialist Party unanimously expressed support for the continuation of mass privatization BUT IT DEMANDS: - Full transparency - Equality of economic opportunity - A fight against corruption and against the capture of the national wealth by the state and the unemployed SOCIALISTS ARGUE AGAINST THE PRESIDENT'S DECREE BECAUSE IT LACKS: - A privatization strategy - Guarantees for citizens against corruption - A legal framework for full implementation - A pillar for preserving the value of the vouchers The parliamentary group of the Socialist Party appeared deeply concerned and unanimous, and social-democratic in the process of social ownership that should be used through privatization to include these categories of people as well. - The peasant without land and the one who has been left without land. - The worker who, while working on the privatization of social housing, is left homeless. - Older people, taking into account the coefficient of the vouchers, as well as each Albanian's contribution to work. The Socialist group proposes that privatization through vouchers should not benefit those persons who, through previous privatization, have unjustly gained large property values For all these proposals by the Socialists, the PD parliamentary group votes: AGAINST!

The decree that does not guarantee social justice

- Speech by MP Dr. Leotar Guci - From the outset I think I should remind the MPs of the majority that this voucher privatization decree… is a highly incomplete document, which stands in contradiction to the promises made by the government. In particular, voucher privatization must create clear economic guarantees for all citizens and not favor certain groups. (continued on page 2)

In Albania there is government, but there is no governance

- Meetings of comrades Gjinushi and Sabri Boka in Vlorë - The state must be reformed and depoliticized. A governance that brings misery and poverty must be prevented. Vote for the left and its victory.
