Enough with fabricated versions, he continues to wriggle and to contradict circumstances and events in a shameless manner, producing variants that contradict one another. In a situation where the new lie disproves the old one, even those questions that were once encouraged and forced now lose all relevance in the face of the new facts.
In July 1991, if we refer to the minutes of the meetings of the Joint Steering Commission of the inter-party action for compensation of former political persecuted persons, the positions of Mr. Berisha and Mr. Trumpa stand out very clearly and distinctly, entirely excluding any kind of compensation in kind for the persecuted.
When asked at that meeting what would be done with the property of former owners and former persecuted persons, Mr. Berisha replied: “To return the property, a special law is needed. The law must be made by Parliament.”
And if today Mr. Berisha does not like the minutes, he may choose not to acknowledge them, even deny them, but he has no power to erase them. This is the written and signed truth.
As long as this document remains in force, no one can invent new versions in order to avoid political and moral responsibilities.

Not now for the first time, the property, the capital of enterprises and of public agricultural holdings are passing from the state's hands into private ones, into private hands. The words “privatization”, “voucher”, “share”, “compensation”, etc., are circulating feverishly in the noisy market of our transitional economy.
According to the data available so far, despite the large number of participants in the voucher privatization scheme, citizens' expectations have been accompanied by confusion, uncertainty and disappointment. This has stemmed from the lack of information and from the mismatch between official promises and reality.
The securities exchange has been left to be forgotten, while the banks have not created the necessary mechanisms for the normal circulation of these financial instruments.
In the absence of transparency regarding the enterprises to be privatized, the privatization voucher risks remaining only an unfulfilled promise.

The First Congress of Trade Unions of Albania began its work in Tirana
Yesterday in Tirana, in one of the halls of the National Historical Museum, the First Congress of Trade Unions of Albania began its work. It will last two days, 29–30 May. It is attended by 376 delegates from 29 federations and independent unions.
Among the main documents presented at the congress are the report of the General Council, the draft statutes, the platform for future activity and other organizational documents.
The chairman of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Albania emphasized the need for better protection of workers' rights and for strengthening the role of trade unions in economic and social life.

Groups of clandestine migrants arrested
According to data available from the Ministry of Public Order, 4 groups of 20 clandestine migrants were stopped; they were attempting to cross the border illegally. Among them were also foreign nationals.
According to the police, some of them were caught in mountainous border areas, while the others were on roads leading to the crossing points.
