The First Conference of the Steering Council of FSASH and the Independent Health Trade Union Federation, held on 27-28 May 1995 in Tirana, after analysing the country's economic, social and political situation, the state of education and health, as well as the course of relations with the authorities, decided to hold a nationwide strike on 7 June.
