25 million dollars from the World Bank for Albania

25 million dollars from the World Bank for Albania - A gift from the generosity of Switzerland of the external debt - The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announces that the World Bank decided to allocate 10 million dollars to Albania for financing administrative and social reform, while another 10 million dollars will support the legal reform project in the country. Another 5 million dollars will be disbursed for infrastructure and the environment. It is further reported that next week the creditors' club will meet in Brussels with the participation of the countries of the G-24, international organizations, and donor countries. At this meeting Albania will present the progress of its reforms and its program for 1995. The same statement also says that the project will meet the needs to help reform public finances and create the conditions for the development of the private sector. The funds will also be used to improve institutional and administrative capacities.
