A group of workers from the Tirana canning factory published a protest yesterday in which it asks the privatization commission not to exclude them from taking part in the auction for buying the enterprise. The workers have worked in this factory for years and, according to the law, have the right of priority in privatization, but they are being excluded and it is not understood on what basis. Out of the 62 current workers, OSA competed some time ago with 24 bidders and 4 legal entities. According to these workers, the submitted documents show that the people who worked in the factory should not win. They call this an arbitrary act. (Continued on page 2)
