The majority of Albanians persecuted by ownership of the assets created by their own labor

National wealth at political auction At the canning factory in Tirana Workers protest - they are being denied the right to take part in the privatization of the enterprise - Published the great ones to work while thousands of destitute people wait, people who with their wages have spent their whole lives creating productive assets, which are being privatized to satisfy the greed of our uncultured traders. The strong and those aligned with the government and dirty money have once again gained priority. Social injustice is growing further in our society. A group of workers from the Tirana canning factory published a protest yesterday in which it asks the privatization commission not to exclude them from taking part in the auction for buying the enterprise. The workers have worked in this factory for years and, according to the law, have the right of priority in privatization, but they are being excluded and it is not understood on what basis. Out of the 62 current workers, OSA competed some time ago with 24 bidders and 4 legal entities. According to these workers, the submitted documents show that the people who worked in the factory should not win. They call this an arbitrary act. (Continued on page 2)

Bread sellers are thrown out into the street

Yesterday morning, a number of bread vendors came to our editorial office. They complained that they were being left without work, while their years-long work at the kiosks subject to privatization was not being taken into account. The sellers say they were the first to keep these sales points running and are now being pushed out in favor of others. They are asking for transparency and justice. At the relevant office, according to them, no full explanation was given and they were even told that they should not speak to journalists. This has increased their anger even more. Its representatives denounce the lack of care, the difficult economic conditions and the uncertainty about the future of these children. The discussions emphasized rising unemployment, family hardships and the insecurity being felt in everyday life. Clearer policies and support for vulnerable groups were called for. ORPHANS' STRIKE

"Their demands left for housing, employment and social support" Korçë The 28 orphans who were sent by the “10 Korriku” dormitory in Tirana, expelled and shut off from the road to the General Directorate of Social Service, are asking for housing, work and economic assistance.
