PP and PS are in difficulty trying to make friends, PS cannot gather people while PD is hindered by politics, they used microphones and podiums to air their grievances
- The police declare: “No other name! Do you hear? The President, sometimes shown and sometimes hidden?!”
On the one hand, the Presidency appears to be loyal to power, seeking through comings and goings to keep the public in suspense; on the other, it tries to maintain a certain balance with the opposition. Tirana, “Skënderbej” Square, where this long story of political movements comes to an end. In recent days, unusual movements were observed which, according to public reactions, once again showed that the political climate remains tense.
The stance of PS representatives in this situation was unstable. Some were seen keeping their distance, while others tried to create the impression that everything was taking place under control. At the same time, attendance at public activities remained low, and this was widely interpreted as a sign of poor organization.
On the other side, PD appeared reserved. According to various comments, it was hindered by the very politics it had built, which made it difficult to approach opponents. The podiums and microphones, which in other cases are used for mobilization, this time served mainly to voice complaints, dissatisfaction, and polarized positions.
In the end, the event left the impression of a scene in which each camp sought more to justify itself than to offer solutions. Listeners and passers-by, according to what was seen in the square, became witnesses to an episode in which rhetoric dominated over substance.
THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC HAS FORGOTTEN HIS OATH
HISTORY is not made with decrees and decorations
Statement by the PRESSH spokesperson
It seems that President Berisha has not taken the trouble to read the fundamental documents of the Albanian state. Not only does he fail to respect the spirit of the Constitution, but he is behaving as if his mandate gives him the right to intervene in every field of public life. Instead of being a guarantor of national unity, he is using the office to exert political pressure and to directly influence the activity of institutions.
History cannot be made with decrees and decorations. History is built through deeds, respect for the law, and responsibility toward citizens. Any attempt to replace this principle with ceremonial propaganda is doomed to fail.
PRESSH expresses its concern about the divisive language and the climate of conflict being encouraged from above. Albania needs peace, dialogue, and institutions that function on the basis of democratic rules, not personal arbitrariness.
If the President continues to forget his oath, political and moral responsibility will fall entirely on him. Citizens have the right to demand prudence, impartiality, and respect for the law from the head of state.

The rally was regarded as an expression of citizen dissatisfaction and as a warning that the opposition will continue to react publicly against any authoritarian tendency.
The Eurosocialists and the PS are more united than ever
The declaration of the Central Committee of the Italian PRESSH states that relations with the Socialist Party of Albania are stable and that political cooperation is developing in a spirit of complete understanding. The document underlines that European socialists are closely following the political situation in the country and support the democratic forces that are calling for respect for pluralist norms.
According to this declaration, mutual contacts have intensified and cooperation projects will continue. The Italian side considers that the PS has preserved its political profile and represents a serious alternative for Albania’s democratic development.
The text ends with the conviction that the ties between the Eurosocialists and the PS are today stronger than ever and that this closeness will serve to broaden dialogue and support democratic reform.
Respectfully,
The PRESSH spokesperson
