Socialists oppose the government's proposal
Not 10% but a 20% increase in wages and pensions
- Grida points to a discussion about the economy and to the government's loss of control over macroeconomic indicators, and a division[sic?] that cannot happen otherwise. "The second one seems to do better, just as much as the country can manage."
- The measures should be taken in January:
1. Increase wages and pensions in advance by 20 percent.
2. Devaluation of the lek against the main foreign currency (the dollar) to a level at which the value of our national currency approaches reality.
3. Reduction of private taxes on certain goods for the benefit of investments and the recovery of the economy.
Of the policy of scheduling and of insasave for the benefit of investments and the recovery of the economy.

At the Socialist Party headquarters:
Deputy chairmen Namik Dokle and Ilir Meta meet with the deputy chairman of the Parliamentary Party of Kosovo Dr. Rifat Blaku
Yesterday the PS deputy chairmen Namik Dokle and Ilir Meta received the deputy chairman of the Parliamentary Party of Kosovo, Dr. Rifat Blaku, in an official meeting.
During the meeting, useful views were exchanged on the current political and economic situation in Kosovo. It was noted that developments in recent months had confirmed the escalation of tension and the political and dangerous segregationist situation of the Serbian regime toward Albanians in Kosovo, after the failure of Serbian attempts to legitimize their state under the military occupation of Kosovo.
The issue of the closure of Albanian-language schools and the Serbian police repression of Albanian pupils and teachers was addressed with the same concern. Representatives of the two political forces reaffirmed the need to continue the peaceful policy and to escalate public protest to defend the national rights of the Albanians of Kosovo.
The meeting also noted that the two political forces can carry out their public action better within the framework of strengthening opposition positions for a clear and fair choice of these forces. This is about raising political awareness among all political forces on the Albanian scene. It is about concrete actions to avoid any unnecessary political tension. We value and encourage all political orientations, without any prejudice, that are convinced that by respecting the law and European political norms, the crisis can be overcome and the climate created for a peaceful and socially integrating coexistence.
At the center of the meeting with the deputy chairman of the Parliamentary Party of Kosovo, Dr. Rifat Blaku, there was also an analysis of the overall situation in the region, in Albania and in Kosovo, especially of the problems of economic and political integration of Albanians and the link with regional developments.

Defamation and the truth
In today's contradictory editorial, often full of unforgivable wickedness, the lowly monster roars and the noise, the absurdity of the wavering, nose-written, personified and fugitive politics of the opposition is pondered.
