The Constitutional Court in crisis

Yesterday at the Constitutional Court, Rusten Gila declared the laws “amnjenoacid” [?] and “on the verification of figures” constitutional . The Constitutional Court is not in a position to decide by majority on the issues assigned to it by competence and on which it is required to pronounce itself; it should have done so. The declaration of the law as constitutional, in the event that the Court decided by a 6 to 3 vote against, placed it in competition with the issues assigned to it by competence and on which it is required to pronounce itself. This postponement has come from differing positions among the commission members, but also under the influence of remarks expressed by various political and social factors in the country. Page 5
