The Danish Social Democratic Party invites Albanian socialists and social democrats At the invitation of the Social Democratic Party of Denmark, a group of 10 local leaders of the PSSH, headed by Spartak Poçi, a member of the PSSH presidium, and a group of 10 people from the PSDSh arrived in Denmark yesterday. During this visit they will hold a number of political meetings and take part in a seminar on how to organize an election campaign. This visit is taking place within the framework of the close relations and cooperation between the PSSH and PSDSh and the Danish Social Democratic Party.

■ All those employees of former state enterprises whom the DP’s harsh reform put out on the street; ■ All those employees of the state administration and institutions, whom in the infamous year 24/1 it called the army of democracy; all those military personnel dismissed from the army as “over-performed” and left without economic protection; all those civil servants who, solely to keep their jobs and put bread on the table, have joined the right-wing forces; ■ All those who think they would benefit from privatization, but whom the DP’s [policy?] left with nothing to eat; ■ The overwhelming majority of the peasantry, who, although they received land in 1991, are still today unable to cope with the harsh conditions of primitive agriculture and competition from foreign products; ■ Hundreds of thousands of pensioners, who struggle to secure their daily bread and feel abandoned by the present state, which has devalued their sacrifices, hard work, and sweat; ■ Those intellectuals who were denigrated, persecuted, and trampled underfoot by the DP government; ■ All those young people, including those who will vote for the first time, who see no prospects in today’s reality for employment, education, or modern cultural development, and who, in desperation, try to find these opportunities outside their country; ■ All women, who became the first victims of unemployment, suffered severe exclusion from social and political life, and were shut away at home; ■ All those businesspeople or honest citizens who cannot accept, and are concerned by, the extent of corruption among the administration and government officials; ■ All those emigrants and their families who were disappointed by the state’s stance on protecting them; ■ All those veterans and families of the fallen of the Anti-Fascist National Liberation War, who have not only been denied the respect of today’s state, but see yesterday’s collaborators with fascism decorated and granted rewards and status ahead of them; ■ All those former owners who were promised the return of their property, but who this year have been given only words and promises; ■ All those who have experienced the brutal violence of the police and the arbitrariness of the administration and the governing authorities; ■ All those who cannot accept the displays of totalitarianism and local strongman rule by today’s state institutions.
