The PSSH Delegation in Bulgaria

At the invitation of the official Bulgarian Socialist Party, today a delegation of the PSSH, headed by the Deputy Secretary-General and General Secretary of the PSSH, Mr. Servet Pëllumbi, will take part in the proceedings of the expanded presidium of the Bulgarian Socialist Party, which will be held in Sofia. The PSSH delegation, which will stay for 2 days, is made up of the Secretary for External Relations of the National Steering Committee of the PSSH, Mr. Sokël Cikalleshi, the chairwoman of the Albanian Women's Union, Mrs. Flora Brovina, and the director of the Economic Office of the PSSH, Mrs. Mereme Bito. During their stay in Sofia, the Albanian delegation will have meetings with the Chairman of the Bulgarian Socialist Party, Mr. Jan Videnov, and with the chairman of the Parliamentary Group, Mr. Atanas Mërxhan. On 26.04.1996, the election delegation of the PSSH submitted to the Deputy Secretary-General of the Socialist International in Brussels, Mr. Luis Ayala, together with the PSSH representative for External Relations, Dr. Arben Puto, the statement of the PSSH on current political developments in Albania and on the violations of constitutional provisions through electoral manipulations being carried out by the Berisha government, the violations of the provisions on the registration of private properties, and the undemocratic conduct and the process of new memberships in the registration of the opposition electorate, which is as yet very fragile. Today as well, the chairman of the PSSH, Dr. Servet Pëllumbi, and the PSSH representative for external relations, Dr. Arben Puto, will send another letter to the secretary of the Socialist International and to other international and financial organizations
